Private Event Policies and Agreements Contract Menu Selection

Golden Rind offers a variety of event dining options from individual servings, large sharing platters to event grazing tables. Please inquire about our current selections as some menu items are seasonal and subject to availability. We ask you to choose your menu at least 7 days prior to your event to guarantee your selections. Parties under 10 guests can select from our regular dining menu; Parties over 10 people will select from our event menu options. We ask that you provide us with a minimum guaranteed number of guests at least 3 days prior to the event.
Guarantees and Payment Agreement

For custom orders, charges will be based on the guaranteed number of guests expected, or on the actual number of guests served. Golden Rind reserves the right to change the event type if the expected number of guests groups below the minimum guaranteed number of guests or rises above standard capacity. Golden Rind requires a food and beverage minimum purchase (before tax, gratuity, and fees) to book any event. For private events on Tuesday-Thursday evenings, we require a $1500 food/beverage minimum. Day time events ending before 2:00 PM Tuesday-Thursday require a $1000 minimum.

For private events on Friday and Saturday we require a $2000 minimum. Events for fewer than 10 people may choose to reserve only a few tables with the understanding that other Golden Rind patrons may be seated and served alongside your party. Minimums may be subject to change and some exceptions may apply during season. Charges not categorized as food or beverage such as gratuities, tax, house charge, etc. do not apply toward the food/beverage minimum. Should the food/beverage minimum not be met, a rental charge may be applied to the final bill in the amount of the difference.

A credit card number is required at the time of booking in order to reserve a private event. Any group requesting tax exemption must submit a signed tax-exempt certificate before the scheduled function. Final payment must be made by cash or credit card and is due at the end of the event. In the event you need to cancel your event please notify us at least two weeks prior to the event to cancel without penalty. If a cancellation occurs within the two week period, or if the party fails to arrive for the event, a 20% fee based on the minimum guarantee may be charged to the credit card on file.
House Rules

With permission, we allow outside cakes, lighting, music on the condition that the volume and selection does not disturb other guests or our plaza neighbors. All outside food is subject to a $10 per person fee. All outside beverages are subject to a $20 per bottle fee. We do not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors and ceilings without expressed consent. Additional charges may apply for excessive cleaning or should additional rearrangement be required. All decorations must be removed at the end of the event. Any damage(s) incurred will be the responsibility of the Host/Hostess of the event.

Golden Rind provides trained staff for all events. A service charge is added to all checks which includes a 20% gratuity and a separate 2% house service charge for all parties. We do not charge a rental fee unless the food and beverage purchased is less than the agreed minimum.
Service Hours

Afternoon brunch and lunch events may be scheduled between 11:00AM-2:00PM Tuesday-Saturday. Evening events are scheduled between 4:00PM-7:00PM Tuesday-Friday or 3:00PM-6:00PM on Saturday. Any events scheduled outside of the specified service hours will be charged an additional $150 per hour.
Federal and State Laws

All Federal, State and Local laws, with regard to food and beverage purchases and consumption, are strictly adhered to. We reserve the right to inspect and control all private events, parties, and meetings being held on the premises. The host/hostess assumes all responsibility for guest(s)’ actions and liabilities that may occur.
